OK, thanks. Unfortunately, that's not how my phone has been functioning. I also have TakePhone setup for my phone button and Propel setup for my home button but, as I mentioned previously, often, when I turn on the phone using the red/power key it opens with the default launcher.

Now, I have noticed that when I do a soft reset it does properly open with Propel. I have no idea what's making it kick me to the default launcher. I'm assuming it may be from missed texts or tasks/calendar events that I cle...

The reason that ptpChat is the only program to have a space in this forum is because I was originally intending this to be for programs that are in development (which PhoneSwitch is not). I am thinking about making this a much more active forum for all of my apps soon though.

To answer the request: Turning your phone on with the power button (usually the red button) should always take you to whatever you were doing last (unless you've programmed it with a 3rd party phone/launcher to do something else)....

Seems my email alerts for this forum aren't working for some reason so sorry about the slow response. I can look in to what it would take to write this program but from what I understand it's kind of difficult to deal with recording over bluetooth and have never actually attempted it. If I think I can write such an app I'll let you know.

I don't see a forum for Phone Switch but I have a feature request. (However, it may just be my phone that does this -- I hope not.)

I have my phone set to automatically lock. After logging on, after say 30 minutes to an hour, most times the first app I see is the default launcher. It would be really, really, really nice if, after logging in, it went to the last opened app or a designated app.

It does sometimes do this -- occasionally I log on and it picks back up wherever I left off (including webs...

Welcome To The Treo Central Forums

I recently posted the following about a voice memo program I'd like.

http://discussion.treocentral.com/showthread.php?t=170898

I'm pasting it here:
You activate Voice command with your headset and say:

"Voice Note" or "record Note"

The prompter lady says: "Record note..BEEP"

You say, "Two Inch Drywall Screws" And whatever voice command to end recording, like "Stop" or push the headset button..whatever works.

In a submenu in the voice memo program ...

Orin,

I will admit that there are some shortcomings with the text display system used in ptpChat 2. The problem is that the underlying framework is all setup for a fancy new text box that is in development seperately. For the time being I have just been using the standard Palm text box and the two sometimes have some... issues. I'm actually planning on using the newer Palm text field that is found in the messaging application. Maybe in the next beta, we'll see.

As far as not receiving an error mes...

Hi,

So far I've really enjoyed PTP2 on my new Treo 755p. I was planning to use a unix shell and a client like ircII or BitchX (my usual IRC method) but PTP2 is much better thus far. However I have encountered one possible bug (with scrollback) and a couple other issues.

When I use the scroll bar to scrollback with the buffer set to > 100 lines, it seems to skip lines ot be smooth, especially when there are long lines. So it's like I'm only seeing bits of the past conversation. Perhaps there is a ...
